Well, you’re wrong. Podracing is the best. That N64 game is still one of my favorites.

Very handy to know if you are like me and have one of their unlimited everything plans wherein Binge On is totally pointless anyway.
Means repeating yourself, saying the same thing twice (like I just did). In which case, his/her usage is valid.
Right, which is totally valid. My point is just don’t go into the store and balk at the price just because it isn’t what you wanted it to be.
I don't think assigning your own value to things is a very good idea. When I worked in a guitar store, people who know nothing about guitars would think that it's crazy to spend $100 on a guitar when in reality it's a miracle anyone is able to even sell them for that cheap. It's a better idea to research what the…
I agree with most of your points, especially on the crafting system. Just awful. It would make a lot more sense if it listed the number required and then the number you have, as in it will take 4 out of the 61 you have to build this. Since every other place in the world you list it that way, not sure why they didn’t…
I mean, that’s kind of my point. On the other hand, that’s a little dumb when the people who actually need silent cases (audio engineers) also need powerful computers.
Here’s my experience. I had a “silent” case, but it was smaller and didn’t promote very good air flow, so as soon as I added my R9 390, it was overheating and crashing constantly, even when I replaced the fans with nicer, higher flow fans. What made the difference was a bigger, better-optimized case. I also have like…
So I’m not very far in to the game yet, but where I am at they have basically not explained crafting at all. Sounds like they don’t ever really explain it. Frankly, I’d be just as happy to not have it. I like Minecraft and I like Fallout, but I see no reason to mix them. It was way easier to just combine two broken…
“What could possibly go wrong?”
It’s a little cluttered but... I’ve got two little Ikea lights for lighting (actually they work quite well and they are cheap). The second monitor (the one that’s off) is currently hooked up to the output of my Avermeda Live Gamer Portable for real-time monitoring of the Retron 5 (I mostly do retro games). I’m…
MP may be the way of the future, but it is missing a lot of features in the standard version (and actually, standard has been updated more recently, too). For instance, you can’t crop a source, which is silly. EDIT: sorry, you can, but it’s a filter now instead of just dragging it. Strange.
I wish I was half as entertaining in my streams as Conan is in these bits. He would make a great Let’s Player.
I wonder if that paging file issue is the same thing that was happening on my XBone. I’d play for like two hours and then it would crash. Every single time. Only way to fix it was to close it and start again from the most recent save.
Yup, pretty much. I uninstalled ABP because I realized that ads are what pay a lot of these people. As someone trying to get into streaming myself, I realize the importance of ads. Do I occasionally run into some obnoxious ads? Yes. So I stop visiting that web site. If they haven’t learned by now not to put pop-ups…
I’ve seen a couple “post your high score” levels that are just as bad in that they want you to post a comment to show your high score and there is no clear way to comment without starring, so it’s a cheap way to get stars and climb the ranks.
For example, in Halo when I spend the entirety of many matches trying to kill someone in one specific way. It is an achievement to finally do it, but I probably would have had more fun just playing, as would my team.
That’s the reason why I’m usually willing to spend a little more upfront. By something that is actually nicer (not just more expensive) and I don’t have to replace it later.
Cars fall under different rules, though, so not quite the same. And in many states, mods are illegal anyway, at least once it leaves your property. In VA, for example, any modifications away from OEM-spec are illegal, though they generally won’t ticket for that and you can still pass inspections.
That’s odd. I was testing out my streaming setup and wanted to compare so I streamed probably an hour and a half of me playing Link to the Past. I had also set it to automatically archive it. Never had any problems during the live streaming and the only notice I got for the archived video was that I couldn’t display…
