The proposal scene was cliche’d out the wazoo, but so goddamn well executed (which banked quite heavily on Golding, who achieved true romcom perfection here) that I can’t find it in my heart to knock it in the slightest.

One of the tics I always noticed in Springer or Maury episodes was the tendency of the people on these shows to find one phrase or argument they thought was clever and just repeat it over and over and over again.

I don’t know what’s worse about the letter: The fact that this dude is obviously seeing the same one Rams fans in his travels and mistaking it for 12 different people, or that he thinks New York is “backwards” compared L.A.

He’s right. Nothing is as disrespectful to the game of tennis as wearing clothing designed for comfort and ease of movement while you play it.

Guys, come on. He was just a kid 317 days into his 31st year when he did this interview. He’s now 318 days into his 31st year now, I think it’s time to give him a break and move on past this. Whom else among us didn’t do something super racist when we were that age? 

“But, by no means at all is he trying to get across that he’s racist” - What kind of statement is this? He wasn’t trying to prove he was racist, that was just a happy accident?

“To anybody who thinks it’s rad though...you’re welcome.” 

We spoke to Derek regarding his interview yesterday and he completely understands the severity of the situation and he apologizes if it offended anyone. That was not his intention at all, but he’s taking full responsibility for it.

If only they’d provided some function that enabled you to click on some text of some form. Something that, say, linked the content to this article. I’m still working on the technology but if I get there within the next couple weeks, I’ll try and help.

I’m loving this show, and I’m very excited for another season.

That being said, I’d love it if the next two episodes could just end in a four way tie between the last four contestants. 

while the meek women working in the fields giggle at the gawking men, perpetuating and affirming the norm.

This just makes me feel so bad for his daughters. Can you imagine watching this movie with your dad and him turning to you and saying, “Don’t be fooled by that movie, you’re far too delicate to ever be a soldier.”
