Wow, sounds like a station wagon, except it gets another 10mpg and doesn’t drive like a lifted barn. Trucks aren’t bad, but at some point they have evolved beyond their purpose and became a go-to choice for people who would have bought a sedan a decade earlier.

Except it’s not a universal tool. It’s a tool with targeted uses. It’s not great for a family car, they don’t have the towing/capacity of work trucks, and they are crap for say - going to the grocery store.
