Completely agree. Mad Men is circular, Breaking Bad is linear. Both are great, but Mad Men's entire premise is that people inherently run into the same personal limitations and struggle to break out of those patterns.

Not the only one. First season was a bit hit and miss, but when they started building everything around the three of them and a little less around the detective yarns, it picked up. Thought the third season was excellent.
