Back in college, we used to go for 40s of Steel Reserve High Gravity. Think it's 8% and cheap as balls.

As I said, I only saw it the one time in the theater, so I can only share my memory of that experience (which as I also mentioned, I found ultimately uninteresting). And it's possible that my memory of the scenes I enjoyed has obscured some of the lesser cinematographic moments but I stand by my original assertion

I only saw it in digital projection and I think there were reviews that mentioned the resulting difference from other viewing options. You could be correct about the DVD, but the version I watched was beautifully shot and colored. To draw a slight parallel to another film, I felt the same way when I watched the second

Figure the writers are all in their mid 20s to early 30s so yeah, they're probably taking a little liberty with the timing of the characters on the show, but all the writers would have been in their teens when the show was on.

It wasn't utter shit, but Mann's Public Enemies is the same for me. The prison break scene and the shootout scene are gorgeous when seen on a digital projection, and the rest of the movie looks beautiful as well, but christ if I didn't care about what happened after about twenty-five minutes of that film.
