(That's the joke)

Im one of them. Tesla used to be my dream car. I'd own one by now but I refuse to give that man my money. Instead I have a Chevy Volt and will likely soon trade it in for a Mach E

The Taco only gets 24mpg with the hybrid, which is pretty disappointing honestly. The Maverick gets between 35-40mpg and is cheaper to buy

Its the Buick Encore. It has comfortable seats, it’s easy to get in and out of. Old people still like to buy from domestic brands, and their eyesight is too poor to look on the door sill to see where it’s actually made (this is what my 82 year old grandparents drive)

Superfast Matt is the best car YouTuber. Periodt.

I think most of the people who call them boring to drive have never driven one. I personally love how they drive

We did it, guys. We found the one person with a higher carbon footprint than Taylor Swift

You can absolutely charge to 100% for the occasional trip. This article is talking about for your normal daily driving. For most people that’s 30-50 miles.

I mean range extenders can still be excellent systems. It's how diesel trains work. If your electric Motors are pulling massive amounts of energy, you'd need a massive engine that can generate electricity in large quantities. With the instant torque of electric Motors, it could be really fun if done correctly

I really hope they fix their software issues because this looks like a really great car otherwise, even if it's a bit overpriced.

Ultium cars run heat pumps

It looks like an amazing vehicle, and one I’d buy in a heart beat since I’m a GM guy—but I think it’s DOA at those prices. If they dropped it $10k it would probably do some numbers

Ultium is, itself, an update on the BEV2 platform so they ought to be able to make it fit

No

Eearly Model S Motors were known to fail prematurely. Newer designs are much more robust

I love how every Biden scandal are literally just stories of him being a good dad

Its crazy how far ahead the Chinese are in battery tech

Prices are too damn high. Sell them for $30-$40k and demand would go through the roof.

I’m Rollin down Rodeo with a shotgun, these people ain’t seen a brown skin man since their grandparents bought one”

I hope this means they keep the Bolt going another year then. They need to drop the price by $20k for these trucks to be viable.
