I thought GM was continuing the C7 alongside the C8

My parents bought a 2008 Chevy HHR with a stick shift. It got 35 on the highway with the 2.2l engine (I think that may be the only year they put the 2.2 in the HHR). None of us really minded rowing through the gears, though I do prefer automatics on my daily drivers (I was under age still so I drove it frequently)
