I think the bigger the name, the tougher it is to make the character work. I was pretty taken aback that they brought Ian McShane on board this year, but not surprised at all that his role is small and limited to one season. (though I did think he would have made a pretty sick Victarion Greyjoy)

I'd like to see Ray Winstone redeem himself from his ridiculous role in whatever the major-network-"GoT-Lite"-Bible-epic-pap show was. He could easily be any number of Northern nobles and do it damn well.

The construction obsession is pretty fantastic, I must admit. Since this run of episodes was so short, I've been re-watching 'Venture Bros' on DVD. For some reason, I can't stop laughing every time I think of this S2 exchange:
