Financial security is not some stolid, boring state reserved for middle-aged white women who shop at (shudder) Chicos. It is freedom.

I met with a 23 year old who was just out of college when I was in banking about seven years ago. She was frustrated because she couldn’t save money despite making $60k/yr with “hardly any expenses” (low rent). When I went over her expenses, I told her that she needs to stop shopping at Whole Foods, going out at least

What in the actual fuck. Lauren Martin has advocated the worst possible financial advice you can give a person at ANY point in their life.

Yes, Bristol, you’re absolutely right. The police who dragged a 14-year-old out of school in handcuffs for building a science project and subjected him to hours of racist interrogation without allowing him access to a lawyer or his parents are the real victims here. The police and white people everywhere. Can’t put

Seriously. Who cares if Monsanto loses a few pennies while they bully farmers out of business. If it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter. Give people what they want rather than one large, historically evil company. You can’t have it both ways.

How can a label be threatening?

Well... let’s see.

It’s “problematic” in the sense that anal-retentive people like you who wield a four DECADE old article as a weapon for criticism represent a significant part of our voting public, I suppose.

I hope this makes other states hurry up and legalize it. No offence everyone who’s coming here for the pot, but you all are doing horrible things to local traffic.

So an article he wrote 40 years ago, citing several studies from that time period? That’s it?

Duh...

I guess she ain’t feelin’ so good on a Wednesday

That marijuana brought in more tax revenue than alcohol is all the more amazing when you consider that Colorado has more than 300 breweries, one of which—Coors’ Golden plant—is the world’s biggest.

Basically, iirc, the state constitution doesn’t let the government raise tax revenue by more than the rate of inflation and population growth without a referendum. They can raise one tax and cut another, but overall revenue is capped.

I’m voting for the state to keep it to spend on education which is why I voted for legalization in the first place...well one of a couple of reasons;)

A side effect of the war on drugs, people assume if it’s legal it must not be dangerous, while consuming one of the more dangerous drugs out there.

For fuck’s sake. The only time this “parenting technique” will work is if the kid dies. So congratulations. He’ll never drink again.

A baby Rock!

“Duuuuhhh me name Tom. Tom throw ball. Tom throw ball Gronk."

I don’t think he’s even that pretty. I like my men a little more Doc Marten, a little less Uggs.
