I don’t know, I think if the sign says “NO PARKING AFTER 4:00" because after 4:00 that lane becomes a travel lane in a congested area, yet you left your car there, you’ve earned the tow. Especially in areas that can really benefit from that added lane... like in most major cities.

Double parked or blocking a driveway means it’s trapping other cars, thus interfering with the sovereign property of their owners. A car blocking a lane of travel, that plus blocking the sovereign property of all drivers.

How about just park in a legit space or at the very least stay with the car if you are picking someone up!
