Good ol blake011, right on time with his The Master and Inherent Vice hatred. Give it up, dude. Did Paul Thomas Anderson slaughter your family or something?

Interesting. I thought this was easily the weakest episode of the season.
All it took me was 1 minute of this debate to know who was going to win in the eyes of the American public. Pence came off as calmer and Kaine was a little whiney. Appearance is everything in the eyes of the public. It matters not what they say but how they say it.
In one of these movies Jack Sparrow was literally eaten by a Kraken and then in the next one they brought him back from the dead. I don't know where the fuck you go from there. What a convoluted mess of a franchise.
Jesus, all the music on this show is just the worst. I wonder if there's a thematic reason for why the score sounds so cliched and uninspired at this point. It's like they chose all the music that got rejected from Firefly.
I don't have Netflix. I just watch everything illegally online. Am I a piece of shit?
Really? Misogynist succubus trope? Come on, that's a stretch. It sounds like you're going out of your way to find fault with it.
Mikey Day is one of the whitest names I've ever heard.
Larry didn't even bother doing a Bernie impression tonight. He was pretty much just Larry David.
I don't get it either. Outside of 22 (over soon) this just doesn't do anything for me. It's frustrating because I usually love this type of stuff. Age of Adz, Kid A, and Yeezus are some of my favorite albums. I just keep waiting for the songs to build to something more.
I consider it a pretty good album. But her self-titled is a great album.
I don't like this album as much as you but I like your enthusiasm!
There's something about Schur that just rubs me the wrong way. I think its all the niceness. I really dislike scenes like the one where Jason is about to blow his cover at the dinner party. You can make your character an idiot but this just feels like they're making him act whatever way which best fits the plot. I…
Buzzard was fucking great. I just watched the trailer for this new movie and it has the best use of a pull-quote I've ever seen in a trailer.
Great call on Jesse Eisenberg, Dowd. He's particularly fantastic in Night Moves and The Double (both underrated gems). "Precise, nuanced variations on a type" is a great way to describe what he's doing in those.
I think maybe we look for different things in movies? I am aware that you could pick apart the plot to Into Darkness a million different ways. By no means do I think its a perfect movie or even a great one. But a laundry list of plot holes is of very little importance to me. I don't really care if The Enterprise's…
People's main problem with Into Darkness seems to be that it's a rehash of Wrath of Khan. Okay. I've never seen Wrath of Khan. At least in Into Darkness the characters felt like they were going places and at least Abrams knew how to make an exciting shot. Star Trek Beyond sort of pisses me off with its mediocrity.…
I've only seen the new movies but Into Darkness is so clearly like 10 times better than Beyond to me. I thought Beyond was a tremendous bore.
I watched Clerks and Clerks 2 for the first time like a week ago. The first one was actually pretty charming and sweet. Not everything hit and the acting wasn't really all that great but the leads had chemistry, the film had heart, and it speaks to the lost, twenty-something minimum wage worker in a way which feels…
Hey folks, I'm not gonna say Dr. Luke did it but I'm also not gonna say Kesha is lying!
