Go ahead and watch it. Seriously. You’re spot on with LeBlanc, and that doesn’t get any better in the second episode, but I personally do like Evans’ personality and the episode really has some rock solid moments. Watch it and report back... I’m curious to know what you think now. Because I was saying the same thing…

I never actually liked the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car thing, so this is nothing new for me to dislike. It was always the boring part for me. And it’s also what appears to have put LeBlanc in the spot he’s in now.

Exactly. LeBlanc is so damn boring. The part where he suggests that the people switch seats... really? That’s like a lunch lady telling kids to clean up or they’ll have to go to the principal. Evans IS trying, and it will take time. That’s normal. But Matt LeBlanc just bores me.

I don’t really mind Chris Harris’ persona on the show. I can see it growing into an easily likeable one that can do the job very well. But Matt LeBlanc... he is as entertaining as a mop bucket. I kind of like it. Maybe it’s because I spend so much god damn time under the hood that it’s nice for the battery to be tucked away so I have one less thing to want to murder in the face. Though getting the bracket to tighten down requires a lot of cursing and throwing of tools.

The Monsoon sound system is so dear to me for some reason. I see this body style with the Monsoon system and get happy.

I have a broken K03 boosted dream. When that little fucker fails, it’s game over. It sounds like a dentist drill. Which is a real hardcore slap in the face, because the last thing you want to hear when your tiny little turbo dies is the same sound you hear when some guy is maniacally putting holes in your mouth.

In that incident, it’s not entirely certain that it was caused by an air show appearance. That accident could have happened pretty much anywhere at any time. Which is awful, because that was a very nasty crash. Very, very sad.
