I watched it the way it was meant to be watched: on an 11-inch backseat screen on a plane, while half jet-lagged from already flying through nine timezones. It was entertaining, at least.
AI Artificial Intelligence was released shortly after before 9/11, which featured the Twin Towers half submurged in water (it was set in the future, though). Wasn't even cut out for video release.

For me, every TV series is hard to start. Maybe it's because I live outside the US, my Internet download limit is low and I am a procrastinator, but I sometimes start at a new season rather than the series proper.
