It looks pretty nice, but i cant help to think that this concept, once it gets watered down for production, the final car will look pretty unimpressive and almost like a Hyundai Genesis or something like 90% similar to other cars on the road...

I just don’t think it would’ve been. 99% of the stories would’ve been about various difficulties and I think it would’ve gotten old after a while. You can’t experience anywhere near as much with the Model T as you can with a more modern car.
Doug, I like your choice. too. Too bad you didn’t take my suggestion of a food truck, but I never thought you would. That would have been way more than a column. More like a sitcom. :)
Did not read the article and just read the headline. I personally always assumed that you put a bunch of suggestions on a big twister mat, cut the head off a live chicken, let it wander around a few minutes, and picked the car that the dead chicken lands on.
I fully expected to hate BB8 in this film like I hated Jar Jar in the prequels, but darned if the little rolling droid didn’t totally win me over quickly. And that thumbs up was both adorable and cute, and ridiculously great and awesome.
The fact that street racing is still going on.
Mate (sorry don’t know how to do the accents) you amaze me with the stuff you come up with, I have spent a lot of years looking at euro car history. My favorit is little one off Swedish vehicle is the SAAB Sonett I. I saw one at a museum a couple years ago. I never thought I would have a chance to see one in the…
That is assuming that the wrap isn’t covering up something cosmetic....

There are just some people in this world who want to just try and see what they can get by complaining. They complain at they checkout to try and get something free, complain about dinner to eat free, and will put up a fuss (real or not) after you sell them a used car. They take the old adage “it never hurts to ask”…
This is as much a Camry as I am.
Thank freaking everything that this won comment of the day.
And for good reason. I am biased though, as a blue with white stripes 1997 GTS has been my hero/dream car since....well I guess 1997. And it had its own show! It was terrible but still, there was never a Corvette show.
Thanks for the excuse to post this photo of my Dad’s S8.
Still confused why people feel Audi offers less “prestige” than Mercedes let alone BMW. Lexus never was however Audi is (or should be) just as “classy.”
This could only be more British if it was painted red, white and blue, had Rowan Atkinson in the driver’s seat with Rule Britannia being burped through the exhaust, and a cold sausage roll with a warm beer on the passenger’s seat.
waiting for a replica of $kay to chime in on replica GT40s.
I do the exact same thing and without fail your tab will be missing a few items. Make it clear you’re generous upfront without being obnoxious and it’s usually returned in kind
I travel a fair amount, and I do a large amount of drinking. My rule of thumb is: always pay cash for the first drink, ask the bartenders name, say “thanks <bartenders name>”, tip very well for that drink. You can open your tab for the 2nd-10th drinks, but always cash and tip for the first.
Oh, and deafening them as well — Pluto flying overhead would have been about 150 decibels. To compare, a Saturn V moon rocket at full thrust is 200 decibels. So there's that.
