Is anyone surprised by evil behavior from Avis? After all they are worshipped by the Krill

1. Refund my Lyft

I don’t have kids and I’d buy that. Mobility issues make cars hard to get in and out of, its hard to find a non-car manual

Agree on the Mustang II. Around 76 they got around to stuffing the 302 V8 in it and for its time it was a very lively little car And look at the competition - Vega (awful) and Gremlin/Pacer (boring)

Mercedes E class coupe (C207) Available with the 382 hp n/a V8, its built on the C class chassis. About 300 lbs lighter than the sedan, as well as lower and a shorter wheelbase. Pre pandemic you could pick up a 2010-2012 w under 100K for about $12-$15K

Original Mercury Cougar. Mustang with a stretched floorpan and hidden headlights

Being from the Mirror Universe, I’ll go opposite: most underrated car:

You’ve got it backwards. There’s no such thing as “anti gravity” there’s just gravity. The hovercraft emits gravity upwards at 1G negating the downward pull and it floats. It’s the same tech that gives you gravity on space ships

Turn signal stalk in any BMW. Must be in a weird inaccessible spot

And in a first gen SLK, better hope you had the top up. Top down you couldn’t get to the changer

65 Mustangs had the emergency flashers switch in the glovebox. 64 1/2s ( I had one) had no emergency flashers and no reverse lights.

The thing that made 2008 so bad was mortgage derivatives, For every dollar lost by a default $5-$10 was lost in the derivatives market.

look up Matt Cox on youtube. He’d buy up 4 or 5 houses in Ybor city (Tampa) at about $50K each, each under a different fake identity. He’d register the sales with the county at $200K each. Then he’d apply for mortgages, and use the houses he’d bought as comps to convince the appraiser they were all worth $200K each.

He could go all OJ on ‘em

for this money you could get a first gen SLK with a manual, retractable hard top, and a supercharger.

you’re thinkinbf of the ‘09 targa

its aftermarket

try to find a tail light for an xlr

Exactly. I’ve been caught in a sudden hail storm on a motorcycle. You’re doing 65 and in a handful of seconds visibility goes to under ten feet. Yikes

I loved my first gen slk but man was it poorly engineered . I;d find random bolts that fell out of thed top mechanism in the trunk, dealership shrugged says :that happens a lot”. With the top down you couldn’t open the cd changer, which fail;ed so often anyway I’d wait until I was taking it in for something else
