The horsepower is nice to have when you’re passing at freeway speeds, which in my area is typically 80-90 mph. My car has 380 hp and weighs 3850 lbs, and I feel like the power is adequate but not excessive.
Having owned a first gen SLK, I doubt it gets driven much because the damn things won’t run for 20 minutes without breaking down. And I bought mine new.
They removed the stock exhaust. CP
The kind that wants the flavor of scotch on the rocks without watering it down. There are some “stone” thingys you use for this, leave them in the freezer, drop them in your glass.

Sigh. There are two words. Profile. And Stop.
If the rental companies are reporting cars stolen when they’re not stolen, aren’t they guilty of filing false police reports?
Wouldn’t you think this would be cleared up pretty quickly after producing the valid rental agreement? Like within 10 minutes or so?
Let’s talk about why guns were drawn on someone who allegedly stole a rental car. Not that she had stolen it in the first place, but unless there had been a report of her committing violence in procuring it...she shouldn’t have been greeted with guns.
Not true. Went to a wedding in Ensenada, most of the guests flew in to San Diego and rented a car. You have to get separate insurance that covers you in Mexico. Since I lived in San Francisco, I just rode my motorcycle down and had fun blasting down the very nice toll roads.

Its been taken to an insane extreme. Its also a major reason they are so…
If you drive 15K miles a year, your fuel cost with this are about half most cars for a savings of around $750 a year. This is really not a bad investment at all.
Did you confine yourself to North Carolina in your cite I was responding to? Nope. Nor should you, these are usually decided on 4th amendment grounds (federal).
On average, how many vehicles a day does a drag strip handle? Compares to, say, a road?
My first car was this, a 1975, badged as an Opel 1900. Had a shop rebuild the transmission, but it shifted really hard and jerked. Shop admitted they couldn’t figure it out, refunded my money. About the 7th or 8th shop I went to, the mechanic said oh, nobody uses the right little pressure thingy (can’t recall the part…
Drive the Accord for another six months and bank $2K a month. Now you’ve got $12K, walk in to do a lease deal with that kind of cap reduction. The interest rate (money factor) will be pretty much irrelevant as the amount financed with be at most $8K over 3 years. Payment will be low, so save up and you can buy the car…
