I really like it. I’m thinking you could fit a dirt bike (or two) in there with that rear door down. Fairly small, decent handling, great mileage, and I could finally get a dirt bike - yeah, I’d probably by this. Or at least lease, a VW out of warranty is a hideous thing.

But with software, you could later pay to have that sunroof. Or, the next owner could choose to add it. That’s a very nice bit of flexibility.

Not a chance. Anybody test riding a private party's bike shows up with cash in hand, and leaves the money either with the owner or brings a friend who holds the money and stays behind with the owner/seller.

I can recall a case of a carrier landing where the weapons officer ejected, the pilot rode it down, and the investigation concluded both made the right decision. Weapons seat would have been killed on the deck flop (can’t recall the details, sorry).

Or just buy an SLK, they’re available for under $10K. With a manual, and you get that retractable hard top Light 4 cyl with a superhcarger, they’re a blast to drive.

This is easy: first gen MB SLK. Lightweight 4 cyl with a supercharger and a manual, retractable hard top, you can find them within your budget.

Lucky you, the US no longer gets the wagon at all. I have an E550 coupe - 382 hp in an NA V8, the motor is wonderful. God I would love it in a wagon. 

Agreed, and they’re not even doing the trope all that well. Collossus: The Forbin Project did it in a much more nuanced way 40 years ago.

Harley should create a separate brand for their e-bikes. Its a different target and doesn't really benefit from the Harley brand identity.

Without CAFE standards we would not export any cars. GM sells more cars today in China than in the US, without CAFE they would not have developed the fuel efficiency to compete in that market.

I have a current gen E-class, and the seats are sub-par for a luxury car. Even with 14 adjustments. Its really the only bad thing about the interior.
