I’m not any kind of editor and I recognize these faults and how I’d like to see them improve. I realized there was a problem simply after years of seeing games do badly (registering this as “normal”) and then seeing other newer games do certain things better and realizing that so many basic things can be improved that

Once I noticed Octopath Traveler panning up to the sky after basically every scene, it stuck out to me every single time.

This article is so powerful my laptop can barely load it, takes almost 22 minu-

Pretty upset about Outer Wilds taking home no awards. I thought it was a lock for best indie game at least.

Watch. Xbox Series X is gonna get shortened by the gaming community into “XBSeX”.

Nier: Automata is a game about nihilism. In the 2017 game, you play your way through a post-apocalypse with multiple endings, each one bleaker than the last. It gives you a few reasons to hope for a better world, and then strips them away, one by one. At the same time, it shows you the folly of characters who try to

I mean, there are several possibilities for inclusion that would provide a viable perspective on the decade. Off the top of my head:

That list is a bit different. Fortnite made it in a previous list that chose a game for each year of the decade. Which hilariously put Bioshock Infinite in 2013 praising its story telling... the same year The Last Of Us released. The comments rectified the error, many times!

This list is not about new gameplay, it’s

But..... how do we fix it? 😑

I don’t think it can be included yet, because we really don’t know if this is permanent or not. Remember when Guitar Hero and Rock Band were EVERYWHERE? For a long time, it felt like they’d always be there ... until they weren’t. Fortnite’s incredibly popular, yes, and it’s created a bunch of imitators. But in five

Totally agree. This game has ruined me on other games. It’s a feeling/experience not unlike The Witness in that I long to experience it all over again, because I feel like I played it in my own special way, and the experience of playing it was unique to me, even if I know that’s not entirely true.

Reads title: Get’s ready to get all fired up

Now playing

“In reality, every single one of these employees who has worked on the last couple of games should be unemployed right now.  [...] We deserve justice”

(Spoilers just for recruiting Vicar)

Eh. I went to BCT. Got put out in week six due to a problem with my lungs.

That is entirely secondary to cutting out a good 40% of the force through a choice of words in the context of an article purporting to be a studied consideration of the nuances of warfare as entertainment.

Imagine being the kind of ADULT who

“Unfortunately, my lawyers and I discovered troubling facts about the Estate which prevented me from executing my plans for the Estate,”

Nobody seems to care about the fact that there are men out there that are being manipulated by these women.

There’s no such thing as a game that is “too political.”

I get it. I really do. It’s hard to make videogames. Like, really really fucking hard, and for 99% of games, if something was screwed up when it came out, I would say “well that sucks, I’m sure it will get fixed eventually though” and move on, and most of the times, it eventually does. But 76, and everything around

I gave up on this game like 3 times before I finally got into it.  It was worth it!
