It’s not even the content so much. The areas and raids and such in BFA are fine, and I liked the story told therein (at least alliance-side). The problems with BFA aren’t that - it’s the changes to the underlying systems, where rewards are plentiful and easily acquired, things are meant to be done easily as a solo

I’m so happy with WoW Classic. I was in college when I played Vanilla and adored it. Played through WOTLK and had an absolute blast. Then 10 years went by. I came back to BFA with my friends, and while I had a lot of fun, it just wasn’t the same game I’d fallen in love with. Class identity was gone, and everything was

either can’t afford to play World of Warcraft Classic or don’t have PCs good enough to run it.

There are some storylines that are pretty self contained in a small area of one zone and some that carry over from zone to zone.

I’m in the Greys though. Have been for years. :( can't climb out.

I’m already seeing the comments, so let’s be clear about something here:

“Cancel Culture” did not kill Alec Holowka. We don’t yet have the full picture of how he died, but it sounds as if he died by suicide, and had been suffering from a host of psychological and personal difficulties prior to that final, tragic act.

No

This is it. Retail is about reaching endgame for the community aspect to start. Classic is about the community being a huge boon towards the journey to 60 where endgame is a higher tier bonus content.

I felt the same way with the first EQ Legacy server. I got dumped naked in the middle of the world and nearly cried with joy asosme passerbys helped me out and played with me.for 10 levels before parting ways again but with some.info on where to find a good guild and good people to connect with.

Sounds as salty as those who bemoan the current design...so no, I wouldn’t say they said it best.

I spent a day and a half in Elwynn Forest in WoW Classic, just questing and talking, getting to know other players through the area chat, because they were right there with me.

Outer Wilds is so good but makes me so sad playing. Very atmospheric and emotional game. I love it!

Very much looking forward to playing this.

Oh man it’s crazy how many of the big points of this review are the same as IGN’s review, usually I expect kotaku reviewers to have a different take. The fact that you guys had basically the exact same impressions feels incredibly unusual to me and is also a bit of a bummer because this sounds like a game that

This game is on the “games I’ll play with my children” list.

Yep, people who say shit like this are NOT trying to “understand ... social justice stuff.” They’re just mad they can’t be fucking awful with impunity anymore.

Whiny entitled people complain about being called whiny and entitled.

The first reset is surprising, the next couple are stressful and frustrating, the ones after that become relaxing. After a few cycles, when the (beautiful) reset music kicked in, I just kinda stopped whatever I was doing and tried to find the best view point to watch the end of everything.

For what it’s worth, I’m the same way. This mechanic seems designed specifically to turn me off. There’s nothing worse than knowing you’re about to complete a puzzle and then hearing that music.

Given the logo and your description, i was expecting....more of that vice city vibe you were talking about. I didn’t get much of it.

Rather than respond to all of the “but she wore a low cut shirt” posts, let me just assure you of one thing: “they asked for it” isn’t a defense.
