Oh, my sweet, sweet Baron’s Ambition.........

Thanks, Kirk, now I’m sad.

I was about to comment that same thing. Nintendo built a whole console (more if you consider the handhelds) around the “second screen” concept and it doesn’t get one single mention?

dude just stop. you aren’t half as smart or experienced as you think you are

I love it when people who are obviously ignorant children call other people stupid and claim to see things on a higher level. Really makes me laugh.

You’re a remarkable idiot

Makeup it self is a lie on how you really look

It’s one thing to prefer women who don’t wear makeup. That part’s fine.

I thought the exact same thing....in 8th grade.

Maybe I am the minority but I prefer women who don’t like makeup. The excuse that makeup helps build confidence is a lie in every way imaginable.

Non-stop, eh? How many hours per week would you say you’ve been working? Is that reflective of working conditions across Kotaku as a whole? (Note: *semi*-sarcastic)

People were already doing this in Destiny - another Activision-published title. I wonder how much information exchange exists for stuff like this within Activision, because there’s been talk in the past about Bungie and Blizzard sharing information. This seems like they should have seen it coming.

My hope is that such questions will be less unusual in reviews, particularly with Red Dead on the horizon.

That’s not how business works. You don’t pay people with money that doens’t exist, just because you appreciated all of the hard work and contributions over the years.

I think you’re reading a bit too far into things less than 2 weeks from launch. From what I understand, the Dreaming City is going to constantly fluctuate between various states of “corruption” indefinitely. This means that no matter when you jump in (at least assuming you play in Y2), you’re going to get to

on the other hand, it wasn’t a massive waste of dev resources because it was inevitable that it would happen. i mean, i had no idea about comets or rockets or any of that stuff when i finally tried fortnight and it didn’t diminish the experience at all.

HR isn’t there to help employees. Don’t fool yourself. And many individuals don’t have the presence of mind or financial stability to hire a lawyer.

I think a lot of it also depends on the work you’re doing - I fell into self-employment after losing my job of 12 years, and discovering that a handyman who we always called for various things was in desperate need of QuickBooks help. Welcome to my new job, where I have 4 dedicated clients that keep me afloat and

I have worked as an independent contractor too in my early 20s and had a very similar experience to you in the anxiety. A large part of that was that I didn’t have any established wealth and the pay was so variable. Sometimes there was a windfall and other times I would spend tracking down clients to get paid. In

For the past 5 months I’ve been working remotely in the job I’ve had for the past 3 years. My fiancee got a job in another city, and my manager was totally cool with my working remotely, so that was exciting.

Everything you said resonates in a way that’s a bit dismaying.
