I’m aware. That doesn’t change my point. PS may have improved on the concept of trigger feedback, but Xbox still came up with concept of having any trigger feedback at all. Given that it’s been seven years since then, I’d certainly expect PS to meaningfully iterate on that somehow.

I’m aware, that doesn’t change my point. Sony improved on the idea of trigger feedback, but Xbox still came up with it, and no one paid attention back then.

The paddles are the main game changer tbh. I couldn’t see myself putting more than $60 down for a controller without paddles, it doesn’t feel like you’re getting enough in return

It’s so interesting seeing how consistently Valve comes out with meaningful iterations to every piece of the Steam ecosystem, despite holding an obscene lead over literally every other app storefront. They don’t ever seem to rest on their laurels despite their comfortable position as market leader.

I’m always disappointed at how few people know that the Xbox triggers can vibrate. No surprise, given how woefully underutilized they are by game devs, who almost never support them. They’re magical in games like Forza—where you can feel the difference between tarmac and dirt, or the telltale click of the ABS kicking

How are people like you not embarrassed by being so confidently uninformed? lmao, like, goddamn, it’s in the fucking article that she was given permission

I love how unclear and imprecise this comment is, like you’re dancing around what you’re really trying to say, because being clearer or more explicit would make it more obvious how presumptuously wrong it is.

See, normally I would be fine with it if it’s consistent with their usage of male. But not once does he say “a male”. He says “a male designer”, adjective, which is fine. But never “a male”, noun.

If you hold a bunch of apples, you can cautiously approach a wild horse from the front and get it to eat out of your arms, which will make it FAR easier to tame.

On one hand, I love the political intrigue of Ice and Fire and The Expanse, and the prospect of seeing it in a Final Fantasy game has me on the edge of my seat. It gives me FFT vibes and I’m here for it.

New title:

It doesn’t go out of its way to tell you about fusing rocks to weapons, but it certainly does hint VERY STRONGLY at it. In one of the first caves you enter, there’s Zonanite rocks to mine, and in front of them are a bunch of wooden clubs lying around next to a bunch of rocks.

Jump and Use? That actually sounds fantastic. Time to take a look!

What does it swap it with?

I was thinking the article was gonna be about, like, the original leaker of TOTK or something.

Yeah, no, that explanation doesn’t track. If you don’t want players to worry about the meta, then you have to balance out characters that break them. Having unbalanced characters is exactly what compels players to stick to the meta. The game is rife with imbalance issues, and tons of the racers have ultimates that are

Speedstorm is by far the most polished, innovative, and fun kart racing game that nobody has ever heard of or played. Mostly because of the horrendous live service model… even though both the offline local play and the online Regulated playlist has everything unlocked and maxed out.

oh RIGHT i completely forgot that zelda is the boy
