As an outsider, I’m inclined to agree. But imo, that judgment is best reserved for those who were abused and affected by his actions.

He seems to be doing a lot more than just “help people get over it”. He’s actively throwing money and resources at making it as hard as possible for him and anyone else to do what he did ever again.
Dang, no Outer Wilds, Kotaku’s game of the year for 2019? Aww ::(
his personal home is basically a film set so it kind of makes sense, maintaining the film set is part of their job expectation, it’s just made a lil more complicated by the fact that someone lives in that film set
Oh whoops, sorry, I thought you had written that in reply to me lol
Correct, and “her manager” and “the producer” are not mutually exclusive. Someone can be both at the same time.
Haven’t watched it yet, so I won’t comment on the story, but I did wanna say that I appreciated what y’all did on the front page
Oh! Sorry, I meant in response to several of the names mentioned in your comment. One of my former roommates was a prolific Fimfic author, and because she was acquainted with people like Pen Stroke, Wanderer D, etc., I frequently also ended up running in the same circles as them. So it’s a bit surreal seeing their…
It’s a slip-up, but not terribly inaccurate. Producers are the film industry’s closest equivalent to a middle-manager. Among other things, they’re often in charge of hiring, firing, and managing artists and talent, whose jobs they themselves might not have any hands-on experience doing.

For all of AI’s ills, I think this is the ONE scenario where people shouldn’t be jumping on the “AI is bad” bandwagon. AutoMod and Conversation Summaries alone could fundamentally change the way we use the internet for the better, without infringing on ethical concerns.
The only thing I will say is that it is shockingly weird watching an AI try to describe people I know personally lmao
This assumes that the only reason to pick a character is to look at someone you’re attracted to. This is a super yikes take. Not every choice is meant to fulfill a sexual gratification.
Oh, the irony:
I’ve always felt that third-person can’t ever really truly capture the sense of scale the way that first-person can. Yes, you can see your own character, and that makes it worth it for that alone. But there is a genuine tradeoff. They take up so much of the frame, and the camera often zooms so much further out, that…
incredible shitposting
“i didn’t experience any problems” ≠ “nobody experienced any problems”
You’re not wrong, but there’s a tonal dissonance when it comes to how urgently the main quest pushes you along, and it’s hard not to get swept up in that.
The story is mostly rote and only gets to The Good Shit™ in the second half of the game, but by then 99% of people are tired of all the open world bullshit.
Hm. You know, despite the fact that I tend to dislike Japanese games—or maybe because of that, even—I completely get where he’s coming from.
