Smoking on his cigarette
Listening to his car cassette
Cruising with his hot playmate
In his Porsche Nine Two Eight”

Fake news. Renewable energy does not create jobs.

I am going to guess that the really spectacular MPG claims are in Imperial gallons.

Wood/biomass burning has displaced mainly coal burning.  Ever burn coal ? Its nasty as hell. And an open pit mine ?  I’ll take a clear cut over that.

Van or minivan. Snow tires and awd but don’t pass up a good deal on a two wd.  Get a NEW battery and check the charging system.  Get some arctic rated sleeping bags.

Even in a SUV you look UP at a moose.  Ponder that.

3-4 miles ? The most basic (e)bicycle can do that. I know Reno mornings can be cold but its not that cold.

Do they call it a Jerry Can in Germany ?

The Sugarcubes-Motorcrash

ICE engines are crazy inefficient (no matter what the fuel is) and fuel cells are crazy ass expensive.   Maybe fuel cells are where Li-ion batteries were 15 years ago.

There is a lot of energy use long before the gasoline ends up at the pump nozzle.

Not bad considering the terrible aerodynamics.

Hybrid might make sense.  I bet the majority of pickup trucks are in urban/suburban areas rather than on ranches or cruising country backroads. (although vans are taking over the utility market)

Friend of mine has one of these, something wrong with the fuel injection. Even in the summer he has to let it warm up for 5 minutes before its drivable.

Why did Olde-Tyme cars have such narrow tires ?  Was it the tire technology ?  Did they just not know any better ?

Electro parking/emergency brake, stupid !  BTW can I do snow 180's with an electro emergency brake ?

$3000 tops.

Porsche cayenne turbo. I dont’t like suv’s but. Power, handles good, 4wd to cut through vacant lots, construction areas ect, enough ground clearence to go over curbs. Big enough to shove other cars out of the way, smash through gates.

If the inspection is truly for safety, then yes. Not for some rust on non structural parts, a few dents, ect.  That rust on the corner of the door is fine.

The tallest passenger can stretch out, a place for luggage, cargo or to carry bulky items. Plus its easier to get in and out, for taxi type use.
