I’m guessing the scooterists decided they will enforce the traffic laws and the cyclists told them to stuff it. The scooter gang had enough time to put their rigs on center stands and confront the cyclists.
Those smooth underbellies probably act as a wonderfull toboggan when you slide off the road onto a flat field with snow. You would be amazed how far an old honda civic glides across a field given no big snowbank to crash through and the right amount of snow on the ground.
Whatever minicipality they sell this thing in tax $1000 that goes DIRECTLY to the electric portion of the public transit system. Metro, tram, electric bus, hybrid bus ect. City dwellers are the ones most affected by pollution and noise so they will benefit the most.
The gravel makes it easier. Try it in the snow, much easier. Dry pavement, you really have to commit. The biggest problem is that most modern cars have a stability program that makes those moves impossible or much harder to do. Maybe it got disabled for the commercial, don’t know. Anyway, good ad.
I knew that methane breaks down quickly but damn I thought it was faster than 9 years.
Will it be grounded like a camry ?
How the hell does an oil cap cost $25 ?
Considering the first Porsche was electric, in 1898, I guess they have 120 years of electric car making.
Almost every EV driver I have talked to does most of their charging at home and they have a second ICE car for longer trips. And they say that the EV gets most of the daily use and the ICE car is a backup.
Uh - huh. Let me know in 6 years of real world driving how reliable it is. The problem with most high end cars is that they are designed for people to lease for 5 years.
This would be great for suburban families who can afford a second and/or electric car. It would get 75% of the driving.
I think it was on ‘Supersize Me’ they showed how that meal, with the little styrofoam coffee cup sized coke, was the regular or standard meal back in the day.
Yup, thats what I meant too(i just added in the keyless start story). And it is a little nutty on such an expensive car. People would be tugging on the door handles wondering why I didn’t open the doors after I had got into the car. Only after I started to reach over to the passenger door to unlock it did they realize…
Good gas stations have the extra long hoses so you can insert the nozzle on the opposite side of the car, if necessary. Instead of doing the fancy back up manoeuvre to access the pump.
I used to work at a tool rental company and we were constantly cleaning dirty, greasy, oily construction equipment. We had all sorts of nasty chemical cleaners that we were exposed to all day long. We tried using a big spray bottle with a dish soap water mix and it worked for 90% of the cleaning. It was a lot more…
A cheapish hybrid sedan built by Toyota ? This thing screams uber/lyft/taxi.
Just last night a friend of mine gave me a lift home and he says that keyless start feature on his car is a needless complication with no benefit. Anyway, if you really want that car or get a great deal on it, I would say don’t let the lack of those features stop you. I mean those stupid electronic parking brakes,…
