Thank you for explaining coefficient of drag IS NOT EQUAL to actual drag, although I’m guessing most Jalops know this.

Probably yes, BUT, whenever I watch those “Walking around NYC looking at cars with the Jalopnik dude” I rarely see small cars. Small cars are easier to park and are a smaller investement into something you may not use that often. Here in canukistan you will see lots of micras, fits, yaris, minis, fiats ect.
They should have just bought whyte cycles. A small brand bike company is cheap to buy. That is, if you have enough money to sponsor an F1 team.
The same guys who don’t want you to scratch the bedliner. WTF !?
Loads of them used to be crawling all over north vancouver BC, but I think the asking price got too high, I see less now.
Was driven around in my cousins Jeep Cherokee trailhawk a few weeks ago. Its probably a great off roader yet it has about the same space as my honda fit. And the cherokee was given to my cousin for his company car and he never offroads nor intends to. Compare the purchase price and fuel costs, ouch.
I think MB is going to use this to promote electric cars. “Embrace the future ! Look how crappy life was back then ! “ 106km on rough dirt roads is pretty damn far. I’ve done that distance a few times by bike on paved roads and it gives you a better understanding of what a miracle modern transportation is.
Its a rural farming ranching area but definitely not the middle of nowhere. The 49 is actually quite a busy highway. Hopefully he just sprained his ankle and search and rescue wil find him soon.
Please apply all these rules to all multi lane roads, not just interstates.
The Flyers are out of the playoffs, Ron Hextall can stand there with his goalie stick and defend the orange.
Make it a wide ranging big gaps 4 speed so the driver can really wind the engine up and down.
“(this is also a mild hybrid, like all Skyactiv-X models).” This seems to be glossed over.
Rustproofing never occurred to them.
They hope so because no one is buying their gas powered junkers.
Yes, but someone had to ask to clarify things. And the article mentions that the mazda 3 will be available first in europe. UK still uses gallons. Here in canukistan advertisers were using imperial gallons to try to impress consumers.
Good point. 95 RON is 91 octane. They should show the numbers with 87. I’m guessing a spark compression engine with a 16:1 compression ratio will be greatly affected by 87 octane. And a mazda 3 is a regular car and should be running on regular gas.
Throw out the MPG because there will always be the confusion between Imperial and US gallons. Go for L/100km or even km/litre. “My fiat here in europeland gets way better economy than your american cars blah blah blah”.
Everyone says they want a small truck yet I don’t see many base model Nissan Frontiers on the street.
