Cabovers rigs are common in europe because of more restrictive total length laws. Shorter tractor, more cargo.  Some american trucking companies are looking into cabovers again for that reason. From what I have read, most truckers around the world don’t like cabovers, unless the streets and roads are narrow and

Those damn things almost got me into smoking when I was in my teens. Happy I avoided that issue in life.

Wear safety glasses, anything is possible. Even crawling under my car to change the oil, the wrench clunked on the car and dirt and rust fell into my eyes.

Related, this how a refrigerator works.

MiniVan !

Buying a suv for the 3rd row is nonsense. Unless towing or 4 wheeling,......minivan !

This makes sense. At least in rural canada, the defacto offroad vehicle is a crewcab 4wd pickup truck. Forestry, mining, construction, farmers and regular private buyers.  Jeep wants a slice of that market.

I’m guessing batteries are getting cheaper so maybe, maybe, it will be worth it to get the hybrid despite the price difference. Unless you live in the sticks and drive mainly rural roads.

Corporate welfare. When times are good corporations scream about free markets, less regulation, lower fees and taxes. Yet when times are tough they are begging the taxpayers for money.

Lets see, dont use synthetic oil, easy with the 3rd gear, my synchro wore out, change the fuel filter because I think it killed my fuel pump, yeah and double check the alternator. I put

“I don’t like the way these extra giant bumpers ruin the style of the car, blah blah blah”.

Nice.  And you can see in slow motion the stump tearing the hell out of the bottom of the hay bale.  Funny how she mentions that her co driver did a great job putting out the fire so they still have a “car”.

Don’t put blind faith in snow tires.  Worn out snows are no better than brand new all seasons.  And don’t assume consistent conditions.  One corner may be much more slippery than another one.  Same thing with braking zones. And a giant SUV is a lot harder to handle in the snow than a small hatchback.

Local currency cash in small denominations.

Slap on some chains.

The road was soft sand and he had to maintain momentum so he would not get stuck.  Come on, that is driving skill 101 !  Well done, you did not get stuck.
