Corporate welfare. When times are good corporations scream about free markets, less regulation, lower fees and taxes. Yet when times are tough they are begging the taxpayers for money.

Could be the thermostat, take it out and put in a pot of boiling water to see if it opens, or just throw in a new one, they are cheap. And a car that old the throttle cable could have some slack or the cable housing is just gunked up. Its really no different than a bicycle brake cable, maybe work some wd-40 into the

GM is retaliating because Ontario chose FORD.

Maintain one reliable runner and one project.  Enough with having eight scrapheaps.  Eight partially compleated projects = zero accomplished.

Nice, I had a 87 hatchback. Very comfortable, your legs are straight out unlike most modern cars where its like sitting on a chair. Lets see, dont use synthetic oil, easy with the 3rd gear, my synchro wore out, change the fuel filter because I think it killed my fuel pump, yeah and double check the alternator. I put

They said they don’t drive too far, some days they don’t drive at all, wife/husband has an ICE car for long trips ect. I was  wondering if

Distances in the UK are not as big as NA . I believe UK voltage is 240v so that makes home charging a bit quicker, I think, not sure on that one though.  Anyone know ?

Let us know how it’s one of the best transmissions in 10 years.

Are there any dsg’s out there with 250,000 miles ?  With no $$$ repairs ?  I doubt it.

I’m sure lobbyists are already throwing money at her.

Can someone explain the term ‘Shooting Brake’ ?

That would literally be my first choice, and I have skied a lot.  Small car handling, a smooth highway runner, good mpg, lots of room, reliable.
