People idling their cars waiting to pick someone up a train station or whatever. Sure if its really hot or cold you want the AC/heat but I see this all the time in moderate temperatures.

Its happening now with hybrid transit buses. They get 15-30% better fuel economy but their emissions(tricky to define but non the less) are down about 60% or more.

I generally don’t care what people want to drive but I have worked in construction and forestry and have driven tons of pickup trucks and 4x4s on and off road. For regular driving I much prefer regular cars.
