Both of those should be done with trains. Diesel freight trains belching out smoke through cities where the grid is everywhere is crazy. More than a few inclines in rural areas have access to the grid too. Apart from the prairies most of the electricity in Canada is hydro.

You should rig up those spare tires on the back bumper. I have seen it on other bugs. You are killing the aero with that roof rack.

Strange that 5th is grinding. In most cars its 3rd where the syncros are worn since its the most commonly used gear. Try winding it out in 4th, neutral, lets the revs drop way, then clunk it into 5th. It also may be cured by the new clutch cylinder.

My guess is hard front suspension, very soft rear suspension. Nose gets pitched up hitting the bump, the rear end much less so. Or a lot of junk in the trunk and the rear suspension collapses enough(not to the bump stops) and doesn’t rebound fast enough to push the rear up.

How does that audi always manage to land on its rear wheels ? Most modern rally cars go nose dive.

I’ve loaded broken up concrete and rocks many times in the back of pickup. May have dropped a few but not thrown them. A sheet of plywood works well.

Synthetic engine oil, tranny oil, diff oil, bearing oil ect ?

From the side profile it does look a bit camarory. Is it better than an s4 ? If the 2 door version of a car is not better, faster ect than the 4 door I find it stupid and pointless.

Hyundai Pony ! drove those things for years.

True but the heaviest part of an engine is the crankshaft and that sits a bit higher in a HO engine, somewhat negating the advantage

And this guy makes a living driving roads paid for by taxpayers(“the government”).

How fast is the non-cheating diesel ?

Those Norwegian refs don’t come cheap.

If its residents only then its residents only. If its public then its public. If there is a time limit or meter so be it. Not complicated.

Fake. It is impossible to drive a rwd 2wd non traction control non stability control non abs without chains studded tires car in the snow. Hellooo, like duh !

The repo teams in Alberta are quite busy now. Before newly employed oil patch dude can save a few bucks he finances a typical jacked up pickup truck. The repo men call them “rig rockets”.

I think the cyclists were egging him on.

I was reading something why vans and trucks have side pipes but cars are not permitted to, it was for this very reason (at least here in soviet canukstan).

Seems that white jerry cans are for water. If i’m on expedition that’s going to be carried inside the vehicle. Then again without fuel you are pretty done for as well.
