It's not too late to digitally insert Ewan McGregor!

First cake and now this?

It holds up better than I imagined or anticipated. The show can certainly devolve into a big snark fest at times, and there's some duds along the way, but it's a surprisingly sophisticated series that takes its characters seriously, especially its lead, and never stops developing them. The private moments between

Joe, Sandler also appeared at the show's 25th anniversary special. (Along with Robert Smigel!)

Jeff and Britta Forever! Jeff and Annie Never!

Recently finished a rewatch of Daria, and I feel like they handle the Trent stuff perfectly, both why Daria would be attracted to him, and why she'd eventually realize it's a bad idea.

Same for me with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

"Worked on Agent Carter?"
"Well, you watched it twice."

To each their own. At a minimum, I think it's a lot less wrongheaded to try to present Barney as a Looney Tunes-esque lothario for laughs than it is to try to sell the same shtick as legitimate romance.

But the thing is that for a long time Barney was always so exaggerated and cartoonish in his misdeeds that if anything. he felt like satire of a certain type of guy rather than an earnest embrace of it. He was kind of a Bugs Bunny on the prowl, and the ridiculousness with which the show and NPH played up the persona

"What if we used Twitter?"
"Perfect!"

It's waffles, man! (He said, trying to sound reassuring but noncommittal.)

One fun detail of that bit that went unmentioned was how McKinnon wasn't a stickler about it, but kept the physicality of a Barbie doll with the semi-bent arms routine. It was a subtle touch, but a nice one.

Hah! The Bills beating the Cowboys in a Super Bowl. That's rich.

In fairness, I'm sure they're fed a lot of that kind of stuff to try to get the audience to stick around.

Oh man, I love the Superb Owl. The idea has a Conan-esque, so dumb it's delightfully goofy quality to it.

I like the idea of the Super Bowl of a microcosm of the NFL season as a whole. At the end of the day, I tend to prefer the conference championship games because the match ups are often just as good (or better) and the enterprise feels a bit purer relative to The Big Game. But there's something about how the strange
