The last time I was on one of the new Goldwings, it was amazing how small it felt compared to the old ones. The bagger model is just smooth as silk.

I came to post this. Yes, it should be kept as seen here. The SR500 faithful are still numerous enough to bid the price up to acceptable levels and then stow it.

I was concerned about the wiring. I think if he rewired it with some battery cable wires from any local parts store, he would be less likely to burn. The gauge on the stuff it came with looks a bit too small to me.

These things are just too big for me. At 5'8" it feels unwieldy when riding slowly, and it’s too wide. Like almost 40" wide. I much prefer the Honda Goldwing, which has better ergo’s and is almost 5" narrower.

There is no more expensive car than a cheap W12.

Corolla Tercel. Yes.

Get your shotguns, people. Clearly, all of this is just preface to the inevitable zombie invasion arising from the bowels of these ships on Halloween.

Ozzy was right.

Dude needs a large cup of STFU.

I’m ashamed how hard I laughed at this one.

Fact.

“That’s not socialism in any way.”

It’s socialism, because corporate America, which is reaping record profits, is leaving their poverty level workers to be taken care of by Uncle Sam, even though they could easily do profit sharing for all workers with those profits, and pull them out of the poverty range.

Only if we abdicate our responsibility as citizens, and refuse to accept that only we can create a better balance of power, Quade. The system which lets globalists do that, has to be dealt with through political change.

And that ‘seat’ too.  Unless the thing is only ridden 10 minutes at a time, that is instant hemorrhoids and chaffed crotch.  Even if you do go full leather chaps.

If all jobs are subject to the same imbalance of labor law, then changing from an hourly worker at one plant to an hourly worker at another will not fix the problem. Because the problem is the unjust working conditions.

Tell that to the employees who got screwed when GM raided its pension fund.  Retirement money isn’t really there, like a paycheck is.  It’s more of a promissory note that may or may not be good when it gets called in.

Trying to make it on $40K is better than $15K, but it isn’t ‘quite nice’. Simply examining the current cost of housing, clothing, food, and education for any kids you might have shows that very quickly. The federal poverty line for a family of four is currently somewhere around $26K.

Sure it will. The lever moves through an arc. All you have to do is recalibrate that arc by interpolating with known weights in the bed. Very simple.

Since they are mechanical position sensors, it shouldn’t be difficult at all.  The only thing you would need to do, is relocate the lever arm to actuate it at the appropriate ride height.
