There are some sick fucks on this thread.

I feel like some sort of trumpian cruelty and sociopathy has infected the world and we are seeing it manifest in this chest thumping moment of cheering the death of two children and 7 others and forgetting that a mother and her three living children must now try to deal with this. I can’t even imagine Vanessa’s pain

Literally everyone called him mamba....

That’s true; it’s still no excuse for letting racist insincere trash out of the grays. (Not accusing you)

*snerk*

If you want a badass-looking recovery from a bench miss, just roll it down to your hips and sit up normally, then place the bar onto the ground and start doing Pendlay rows immediately.

Now playing

Yeah of course, all the big awards shows are rigged to one extent or another and we should ignore them. The last time I was interested in the Grammys was when Outkast performed:

That joke was the most harmless dig ever. Someone’s poking fun at you because you are in a lot of movies. Because you’re a big successful movie star with a career that others can only dream of. Everyone’s got their own baggage, but JFC.

I dunno...this 20-something white lady on the internet thinks we should all be outraged about it!

kimmel, if he’s smart, lives in perpetual fear of those old Man Show clips going viral.

Everything about that gag/character walked an incredibly narrow line, verging on being horrifically offensive.

Honestly, I don’t fucking blame him. Most people not trying to be woke professionals simply enjoyed the character and the movie.

I don’t think that the movie was very good, or accomplished what it wanted to do. However, there is a large difference between doing blackface, and playing a character who is doing blackface. Any attempt to confuse the two is just dishonest.

If you ignore Hayes’ attempts to create OUTRAGEEEE...your summary pretty much is exactly what he said.

Yeah, considering the fact that he was a white guy doing blackface was directly addressed in the movie, I feel that it was more a satirical take on Hollywood just like their use of the word ‘retard’. I find it a lot less egregious than Jimmy Kimmel’s constant use of blackface on The Man Show and his use of the ‘n

Argue what you want about his donning blackface for the movie. His speech to Tug (Ben Stiller) about the Oscars may be the most succinctly accurate analysis of what wins awards ever put to film. For that -- oh, OK, and Tom Cruise dancing -- I will always celebrate “Tropic Thunder.”

...this article is certainly some kind of take!

10-1 that Patamon is an egg or baby until the fight with Devimon, then WHAM Angemon comes out.

The original is perfect. Just like Pokemon, it is the quintessential upbeat kids show with cool monster partners.
