I think the most remarkable thing about the game is that he managed the bullpen pretty well. It obviously blew up spectacularly, but those were exactly the moves he SHOULD have made. But then it was almost like he realized “OH CRAP, I HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING DUMB YET!” and decided to bunt with Rendon.
They’re definitely down. That’s part of the reason they’re trying out this new format with SVP. It probably won’t do much better, but at least it gives you a slight reason to have it on as more than just background noise.
So does JoePa.....er, I mean Brady....get his statue back?
Nah, not Montana. Only 6’2, and probably wouldn’t be referred to as B-list in a derogatory way. I’m going with Boomer Esiason.
This one wasn’t completely crazy, just kind of surreal. I went to a Falwell funeral. Yes, that Falwell family. I was connected to one through work, and when he died, it was decided that the entire office needed to attend his funeral.

He started telling me all this stuff about…
An ultra-talented heel who rarely wins without help....you mean like Ric Flair?
7 games for leaving my shoes untied. Seems slightly harsh.
That Game Gear game was RBI Baseball.
This sounds great but if I couldn’t get out until 6:30 every day, I dunno if I could deal.
The answer is probably Roderick Strong for wrestler of the year if we’re not limiting this to WWE. Someone who has never been fully received by any fanbase, he’s been in another gear this year, for ROH and others. He stole the show at both nights of War of the Worlds in Philly, and has put on numerous other great…
Forgot to email, but mine would’ve been something along these lines:
Supposedly the communications director resigned before the backlash hit, and resigned over the fact that the night was happening.
Couldn’t you use the exact same logic to come to the conclusion that he did the right thing? As you said, he’s a pro. His job is to make money playing Magic. He made the decision that would almost certainly make him more money. Therefore, as a pro, he did the right thing. An amateur gets more by winning the tournament…
