Couldn’t you use the exact same logic to come to the conclusion that he did the right thing? As you said, he’s a pro. His job is to make money playing Magic. He made the decision that would almost certainly make him more money. Therefore, as a pro, he did the right thing. An amateur gets more by winning the tournament
