He’ll probably just imitate that AI that went super racist super fast and start calling his castmates various slurs.

I vaguely remember Olivia Wilde’s character getting un-digitized at the end of the last movie. So, I guess now that’s a thing.

I’m hoping Leto decides to go method again and goes to live in a small metal box under some office desk for a year.

Read. The. Contract.

I love Ray Winstone. He’s a fucking legend and you should have let him do whatever he wanted. Been a fan since Robin of Sherwood and Scum (which both versions of are available on youtube in full, I’m partial to the remake).

He really should stop doing gambling ads though.

The ever-expanding relationship between gambling sites, sports reporting and now the leagues themselves certainly does not inspire confidence in the integrity of any of those groups.  What was once just a shitty call by an official now is called into question as manipulation.

We’re seeing it in the U.S., as well. It’s apeshit how many DraftKings and MGM betting ads I see.

And that is why contracts exist.

Wait, so the scenery-chewing he did in the finished movie was after he toned it down!?

Yes, I quite liked him in this (and in general). Playing the heavy seems to come pretty naturally to him as a performer, and I think he was a good choice for the role. A shame he disliked the experience of reshoots, but I thought what made it to the screen was pretty strong (though apparently not “too strong”).

Winstone doesn’t get enough credit for this role, agreed. Dreykov is one of the few movie villains who only show up near the end of the movie and have to make an impression in his very first scene. He did.

I like gambling, but they’re pushing it too hard.

Why, whatever are you talking about? Surely no one in Hollywood would feel uncomfortable about seeing such a person on screen...

Dreykov makes a decent run at being one of the nastiest villains in the entire MCU

I can see how a mind-controlling manipulator who clearly takes too much pleasure in the control he has over his young female “students”could be problematic though.

As much as I love the work of Bryan Fuller (scandal noted), he was already $30 million over budget for Season 1 and asked for even more for Season 2. You can’t ask for that kind of money on freaking Starz. I don’t understand why Fuller never tried his luck at a place like HBO or Apple who could give him the budgets he

This is giving me deja vu... The last time this happened Bryan Fuller and Michael Green walked away from American Gods after 1 season because of budget issues, and we all know how that turned out. 🙇

Tightening of the budget could also be because it’s season 3 of a show that never really hit big and probably won’t at this point.

It’s still nice to see that some networks are willing to renew shows.

No, that spells long term problems in all sorts of areas, unless the bean counter is a good and experienced creative himself.
