I was speaking of the $20k premium for 140 more miles (on the 300mile range model vs 160). Leaves (LOL) are very popular here in TN as well, and I agree there is a market for a 100-170 mile range EV. However, it seems Tesla is offering a 75k dollar model that gets 300 miles just to say "hey , look! it gets 300 miles

$20k for 140 miles seems fair, I'm sure this is just what the market has been clamoring for!

yeah those are "limb arrestors". They work pretty well on forest trails with small, low-hanging branches. Obviously, they are not terribly effective with the big ones.
