Spot on.
Spot on.
for the first time in over 20 years, L.A. swept the season series against San Antonio
no doubt that’s part of the equation, but the decision making timeline was done in bad faith
Baltimore alt media is having a really rough go of it. The Baltimore Sun bought the City Paper then let it wither on the vine and die. Then the Baltimore Beat was born (with a lot of former City Paper diehards) and the publisher up and pulled the switch just a few months after it started. Really grim out here.
in my home its washer on the left, dryer on the right, and I never knew the arrangement was even a thing until this funbag and subsequent threads.
My policy is to still eat the thing, and tip normally (well), but if my burger was overcooked and I’m at a place that bills itself as an actual burger joint, then I’m going to say something (as friendly as possible) to the server *after* I’ve paid and tipped. Something like, “hey, heads up that you’re kitchen didn’t…
there’s an argument to be made that the snare on Bill Jean is only on the 3. It depends on how you count the quarter notes.
I went down the twitter rabbit hole on this one last night and it was fucking disturbing as hell. There’s this mega thread of all the moments of un-nuanced hyper-sexualizing of minors throughout his shows, with an undeniable emphasis on feet. (The thread is also full of irresponsible conjecture.)
Yeah I don’t think he’s a bad guy or coming through with malice or anything. You could swap out “performative” and think of it as someone who clearly has walls up. I don’t do well with people that so clearly distance themselves in that way — such as comics and actors. I know wonderful people in standup and acting, and…
“Performative” is a very layered term, I admit, but I stand by it. I’m using it in the sense that he’s inauthentic. Not in a malicious sense, just in a “you’re not giving me a glimpse of who you actually are.”
Even though Jonathan is my least favorite, stick with the show.
Sometimes looking at Karamo is like looking at the sun.
That’s generally how the people in my life (who like him) talk about him, and I can’t argue with it, because it really is just a gut thing. I’m not getting that from him, but by the end of the series I did soften on him a bit, and overall the group has a good vibe.
My partner and I are very much split over Antoni’s cooking (I think he’s a wonderful and charming con man with some legit good tricks up his sleeve), but from my tiny queer corner of the world the Great Debate is over Jonathan. Folks either love the guy or loathe him. I was in the latter camp from the get go. By the…
come on Hannah, Nixon is bisexual, not gay.
omg that video, so so so good.
The universe where I’m not an industrial engineer?
Well sure. I wasn’t trying to imply a different phone would *replace* therapy, but rather part of therapy
Hell yeah I would too. If this finds some real success, we probably won’t have to wait that long for another company (or the same company!) to put out better-priced, chic-as-hell dumb phones.
I am the last person to ask about dev/specs/etc. It could be monstrously overpriced for all I know.
