Strange how the mood shifts if you just have a bit of generic action trailer music instead of Hooked on a Feeling or Spirit in the Sky...

Honestly, the easiest (and probably cheapest) thing would be to go and just get a PS3. If you go the used route, you should be able to get one under $100 and used PS3 games are really cheap nowadays, especially if you look online. That way you still get to have the discs. I think the PS3 architecture was so wonky,

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork"

just got the platinum in ffx-hd this week on the same day I got my PhD...Don't really know what made me prouder ;-). This is damn impressive for sure.

Hopefully this means NBC will replace it with some middle-of-the-road family sitcom or amateurs-trying-to-get-into-showbiz competition show.

I get SOOOOOO much more than $8 worth of value (or utils, if your an economist) from Netflix. It's still an amazing deal at $9/month, two years from now when the price goes up for me I will not complain.

Step one, draw some circles.

Firearms actually have a "limited" effective range. Too far, and you need spot-on precision to do anything. Too close (e.g. within 10-15 feet), and it actually becomes risky to use a gun, because your target can just sidestep to get out of the way of the projectile and close in really quickly, and if he's able to get

Personally, I think this is totally worth it. The last time Netflix raised its rates, we got House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Hemlock Grove and other original content, as well as a ton of licensed shows from other companies. Netflix is already the best value I get for anything I've ever paid for. If a $1-2

The two cuts at the end are a good idea, but do not take tips from this guy on safe use of a knife. I was waiting for him to cut himself the whole time.

You Need A Budget (YNAB) has my vote. For the longest time I had mint, but I fell into the trap that many people do; I would set my budget and forget it. I would check my mint activity if I went over budget in a category and mint emailed my, but other than that I would hardly look at it. With YNAB I am looking at my

Janeway always did make bad decisions. It is usally the job of the first officer on a Star Fleet vessel to be wrong so the Captain can be right. Voyager was screwed because both Janeway and Chakotay consistently made the wrong choice.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed at how they didn't actually show the team breaking into the fort to pick up the harness, then I realized, given their easygoing attitude about it, that it would have been just another "Cap and Widow easily fight their way through goons and break into a secret area" sequence. Instead,

I have twins too and I know what you mean. Eventually we wound up having lots of conversations about how people have different strengths, but everyone can improve if they work hard at it. It is hard with twins since naturally they tend to compare themselves to each other :)

With twins, it's a challenging spot to be in the_loxster! That said, I think you are doing a great job by being aware that your words have an impact and by getting into the habit of choosing them wisely. Acknowledge that what you are doing is worth doing (the effort) and don't worry too much about how the kids take it

Ah, must have been using God of War physics then ;-)
