Have you ever played Uncharted? It doesn't sound like it if you think the idea of "climbing mountains and trees and stuff" makes the game sound like Uncharted.

Right before my birthday! Woohoo! I will be getting this day 1.
That's quite tempting. $180 isn't bad. Factor in the $20-$30 for a memory card and you're right around $200.
What I like about email vs. phone or in person communication is that too many people don't know how to keep things short. I have way too many coworkers who take what should be a 2 minute conversation and waste 20 minutes of time I could be working.
Yes! New Amsterdam was another one that I really, really liked. I was so excited when he was cast as Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones.
Journeyman is one of those shows that I still bitch about getting canned. I loved that show. It was very interesting and, like you, I really liked the characters. It was just starting to get really, really interesting when it stopped.
That was a really nice review. I enjoyed reading it and I actually became more and more excited about the Vita as I read it.
When he says Baltimore, he doesn't mean inner city Baltimore. This is the very, very edge of the city where it turns into Baltimore County. It's really not a bad area at all.
I agree. How is there not an app that consolidates the Gawker sites yet? It'd be so good. You could switch between sites easily, comment on stories, get to your user profile, save stories for later, bookmark, etc.
Ahh...good point!
Don't forget Dragon Go. These guys are well known for their speech recognition software and they released their own app. Swype uses them for voice-to-text as well.
Pretty funny stuff especially since I did play Heavy Rain and I remember the part with your son very well. It WAS so depressing!
I've done that before, too, but it's been a long time. Years ago I got angry and accidentally snapped disc 2 of Xenogears. That sucked. I've since purchased it on PSN.
This is great if you were already planning on getting your games digitally. For someone on the fence, I don't know that it will sway them very much especially since you can typically get used copies immediately after a game release for the same price.
I'd agree with a lot of what you said directed towards the people who are just bitching to bitch. I'm sure there are a ton of those people. :) haha If someone is planning to keep their PSP anyway then there really is no reason to complain.
Yeah, Sony would have been better never offering the service at all. If it hadn't existed I'd have gone "Oh well, never expected it", but to have it exist and not be taken advantage of just seems silly. The Vita clearly needs all of the help it can get based on the sales numbers.
I think you're letting your love of the Vita skew your opinion on this (and before anyone disagrees I know the Dr. in real life and it really bothers him that people aren't buying the Vita).
This doesn't affect me, a PSP owner who really likes the Vita, or my friend who sold me his PSP and is planning to pick up a Vita at launch.
Yeah, I say go for it! If you really like the instrument you'll enjoy playing it and you'll do fine!
I'm going to reply to everyone on it and point out that you're getting a Kinect. :)
