Without specific details I can't say for sure, but my guess is that the controller was simply displaying the video that the console was streaming to it. And when it "sent the video" it was really just telling the console to stop streaming to the controller and instead display it on the TV.

Exactly. That's what I was telling a few people. Why wasn't this implemented using the 360 headset? Why can't it work with a Bluetooth mic on the PS3? As far as I can tell, there's no reason other than for them to say that it supports the Kinect.

No way. There is not a chance in the world that this thing will cost $500 or more. For one, that would be a marketing and sales disaster when the PS3 and 360 are both $300 or so.

I was convinced that Sony wouldn't release this for less than $300. There was just no way that Sony would do something correctly and find a way to really compete (and it looks like outdo) the 3DS.

I'd agree, which is why we'll never see the NGP at $250. That would be awesome though!

I hadn't heard about this game before so thanks for the article. It sounds like something right up my alley. Over the last few years, I've become more interested in games that are visually unique and that offer very unique ways to play. This sounds like it has both.

Holy crap I WANTS so bad. I only have one DBZ figure, but it's pretty nice. It's a 10" Majin Vegeta and it's awesome. I have it sitting on top of my computer desk. These would also look nice sitting on top of my computer desk. :)

Welp, I'm definitely buying this. I loved AC:Brotherhood with a passion. Any excuse for more AC and more Ezio is a good thing to me. It also helps that when I grow a goatee, I look like Ezio including the scar. :)

I had decided not to buy Portal 2 because of the Gears 3 beta and LA Noire, but $35 is too good to pass up with my Amazon Prime shipping.

It's good when you can afford it, at least. :) I, for one, am glad they aren't releasing new MS and Sony systems for a few more years. Hopefully my house will appreciate and I'll be able to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy them. haha
