I completely agree that this event is not really doing anything for the population.

Um...there are places in the big cities in Japan that ARE actually sketchy. Don't be so naive.

Gym class music from 5th-8th grades!!!

I went to school in Austin! (UT) I didn't know anyone who played in a band though (surprising I know). Tacos!

Most theaters that I've been to also have a 1000円 Movie Lover's Day or other special half off day once a week or so. Usually on a Monday or a Wednesday. There's probably something like that near you.

I usually go on the 1000円 Ladies Day. I might pay full price if I'm out with people and there's something we really want to see.

I just got into it this past November. I'm an episode away from "Blink". I've heard it's scary though so I shall wait until I'm home when it's light outside rather than watch it right before bed.

Oh Jesus, that picture actually startled me as I scrolled down.

I don't want kids therefore I won't be having any. So...there will be no first new born babe to look into the eyes of. I don't really understand what you're arguing?

Yet another reason to not have kids here in Japan, or anywhere else for that matter. It's a really shitty deal to be a mother anywhere (literally, ha). It's not worth ruining my body, finances, and future opportunities. I know a lot of Japanese women who agree with me.

When were you there? My experience so far has been completely different. (I'm not saying you're wrong. Someone will tell me something that happened to them in Japan in the 80s, and I'll be like "Whoa I've never experienced anything close to that".) I'm just curious.

I'm torn because I love Doctor/Rose aaand Doctor/Martha.

Yikes what a terrible person. Person wearing women's clothing in the women's section is obviously shopping for clothes and the Associate just scared away a sale due to assholeishness.

When I was a kid I thought that that eye gunk you have when you wake up was "sleep". You know how they say "rub the sleep from your eyes", I thought that stuff was the actual physical cause of sleepiness and that wiping it away made you wake up.

The one on the far left in the title picture looks like a young Gilderoy Lockheart! (Just me?)
