Yeah I would have gotten arrested that day - I have always wanted to try a door slide - and that would have been the day. sure i would would have given it more than ab hour - but at hour 3... in coach as a 6 foot 6 inch tall person.. yeah im out.

In case anyone is wondering, aircraft have difficulty lifting off when temperatures exceed 100 F. due to reduced air density.

I coveted The Turtle Van as a toy and as a real vehicle when I was a kid.

The Ambiguous Mobile. It’s subtle.

I’m a little biased (re. Canadian), but Krieger’s series of Rush vans.

If we aint talking about the Batmobile from arguably the best era of Cartoon superhero shows...

I gotta go with Hank Hill’s pick ups from King of the Hill. Both are clearly unbadged Fords. Initially he drives a manual Ford Ranger 2wd that is his pride and joy and eventually he upgrades to what I think is a Ford F250 with 4wd. I like to believe that he’s still driving that second truck.

I thought about the Flex design the other day and I think that is the perfect SUV design. Boxy to accommodate more room, not overly tall or big. It was basically a stretched Sion XB and that was a good thing...now I don’t know how it drove, but from a design perspective I liked it.

Right down to the metallic window panel thingies.

There’s too much Lincoln Navigator going on with those alloys. They need to lean into the boxy styling a bit more and do it proud with some sick 80's Isuzu Impulse wheels.

Ugh, that really isn’t a selling point. It means the maps will be full of pointless filler and chests to fill the space out. It was that tedium that made me give up on AC: Valhalla.

Looks like a low-poly Ford Flex

Unless someone posts a TDI Touareg, I think you win!

As you all may know I have this JDM Pajero Diesel that I picked up a few years ago. I have learned to fix a handful of things on it, and almost all of those have gone well. The thing they dont really tell you is how hard non essential parts are to find.

Right now I have my Juke on jack stands in my driveway where it has been for two months. The right front wheel is off and the wheel well lining is peeled back.

I was going to make a crack about “Historical accuracy!!” and “no black people in the 1800s Germany of the Grimms”, but then I found that exact comment three posts in to the Twitter thread, so I feel like it’s pointless now.

I think the remakes serve as a way to restart the clock on copyrights.

I’m not even sure why they’re remaking this. Isn’t anyone with nostalgia for Snow White like eighty plus years old? It’s not an interesting story at all...
