I use my air fryer 3-4 times a week minimum. I don’t even remember the last time I used my microwave. (I think it was for Trader joe’s mac’n’cheese?) The issue I have is that 99 times out of 100 the only way to get something really good out of the microwave is to baby it, run it at lower power, and take way longer to

As someone that bought a Grom and a Monkey in 2020, can confirm.

WR 250s for sale around Denver are rare as hens teeth, and priced accordingly.

I can’t see ever recommending anything with a carburetor.

Lowering kits for the CR-V are cheap.

Lowered CR-V’s (aka conventional wagons) look sweet. Reminds me of the old Forester XTI concept

The non-Tesla charging infrastructure blows chunks.

Dang, your Jag STILL has an engine in it? My Jaaaaag doesn’t need something as plebeian as a smelly dino juice to move me from place to place in comfort.

My only legit complaint about ASS in our Cadi is that it likes to shut the engine off while we’re creeping in that last foot or so in the garage. Apparently it was too much effort to have ASS observe the parking sensors and assume we’re creeping into position rather than think the car has come to a complete stop.

Well implemented auto stop/start systems are great, but that usually requires a 48 volt electrical architecture or a mild hybrid setup, which I believe most Jags have. It uses a belt-integrated starter-generator/alternator, which IIRC is more powerful than a traditional starter motor, and makes for a smoother start.

My BMW is the same way, but I’d be hard-pressed to call it imperceptible especially if I’m looking to get out quickly into heavy traffic. My battery also suffered in a recent cold snap (since replaced, but not great at the time) so turning the car off and on at every intersection would have been bad news. Fortunately

Ditto for my A4. I like the feature.

Yep, my 2020 Volvo has it and it has zero effect on me other than I don’ t have to keep my foot on the brake at long lights. Nothing turns off and it’s worked perfectly for the past 3 years. Maybe older versions of the tech were more janky? The only time it ever threw me was when I was going through a car wash where

I let my Volvo sit too long, about a month, and the start/stop lost function due to the SUPPORT battery draining. Required a trip to the dealer to learn this... that’s my problem. Overly complex systems that malfunction...

We have a Buick, nothing other than the engine turns off with the auto stop/start. The heat/ac/heated seats all keep doing their thing with the car in off mode.  So not sure what the OP was talking about.

Not sure about all you poors, but the auto stop/start in my Jag is imperceptible. the HVAC stays on, the seat heat stays on and I never wait for the engine to kick back on.

1000% disagree with the Adjustable Power Seats....

Fake engine noises for the posers that drive Chargers to begin with. There’s a market for everything and everyone.

I mean, it’s a Charger. Kind of appeals to the target audience :)

My god this is dumb.
