A tune for my MS3 with a 3" intake and new fuel pump internals was $250 USD in 2013. I was in it for about $500 for around 30 hp with parts and the tune.

Actual P2 owner here. I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, but at the same time, I’m kind of bitter about it.

I’m trying to think of a scenario where a commuter EV NEEDS to go 0-60 a second faster or have 70 more HP. That said, if it’s a one time payment, then why not? It’s like tuning a GTI but getting to keep the factory warranty.

True, but it would likely break 45 mph.

Depending on where you live, a $2500 car could be lacking some of those things too...

It costs as much as a used economy car, has no roof, no crash protection, no stereo, no climate control, and you look like a goofball while operating it.

It tops out at 14 mph, so you’ll be on it way longer, too, and can’t reasonably interact with roadway traffic.

I thought i saw something that said Johnson refused to mention Shazam because he doesnt like the kiddy tone of it.

Wait, you mean it’s not Biden’s fault? But the stickers said he did that. /s

I simultaneously look forward to both right-leaning bootlicking commenters chiming in to support corporate extreme greed as the natural state of the world AND nothing being accomplished on the topic.  Wake me when something changes.

I mean, from a outsider perspective without looking at sales figures it’s pretty preposterous that all their cars are entirely redundant in terms of the GM Empire. Terrain = Equinox, Canyon = Colorado, Sierra = Silverado, Yukon = Tahoe/Suburban, Savana = Express, I guess the Acadia makes sense as it’s slightly smaller

GMC exists so Buick dealers can sell pickups and large SUV’s.

Two doors too many.

This. If your dad is into watches, chances are he won’t like a watch like that. If you’re on a budget I’d go for something nerdy, something from Casio or Timex.

Weight/size. Other than that, not much.

Dad might appreciate a high quality humidor, but that’s not what you’re getting for $40.

The $25,000 market adjustment.

50 large for this? Don’t get me wrong, I love that this exists. Started drooling as soon as I saw it, while reading the article. I like that it’s a more luxurious CTR, but damn. 50 puts me in a three pedal Supra. I know the Integra is more useable, but if I had $50 to spend, that’s where I’d put it.

Its starting price will be around $50K before options and markups (more than $60K all told), which firmly puts it in the territory of high performance German alternatives (2 or 3 series, Supra, S4, etc.)

Two obvious answers considering what it’s competing against in the “luxury” space: AWD and DCT (or some auto option that isn’t a CVT). If the price “starts with a 5", you’re in S3/240i territory.

None. As a rabid new ‘Integra’ hater, I’m glad Honda did right by its fans. Not the coupe we all wanted, but this is good enough.
