The pigs in Colorado threw such a fit over us asking them to not just randomlyt kill people that they all but stopped doing traffic duty. Street racers out all night, crazy moving violations anytime i am on the highway, none of it matters.

i think you missed the joke. The joke is that in USA the auto lobby has so much influence that anything in the world that slowed down the sale of cars would immediately be stamped out by politicians who are in the deep pocket of the big 3 automakers.

Wont someone think of the automakers profits? how can they possibly maintain margins if people can afford the cars?

This kind of thing has no interest from me, but lets say I was 27  and in NBA and didnt want to be in another Range Rover or G wagon.. I could see me in this.
