There is a difference between reconstructive surgery after illness/accident and surgery to make one fit in better. I am sure you can see the difference.

From what I understand body dysmorphia is a mental issue, not a physical one, and people with body dysmorphia don't get 'fixed' by having surgery. Wouldn't comprehensive therapy be better?
