We had the gas cap fail on our ‘96 G20 Infinity when it was about a year old. They check those things during emissions inspections, apparently. Anyway, it was under warranty, so quick replacement. That car’s still running to this day, with only one replacement battery and the normal maintenance.

Yeah... that tire joke totally went flat.

I just paid $37 for the whole outside portion of a power mirror. I’m lucky to find a decent hd web cam under $50.

I have to replace the mirror on my 4runner because of above scenario. $37. Complete with motor, wiring, mirror, hinge, everything. Takes all of 15 min to replace (one bolt is behind the inside door panel).

You know what else “eliminates the possibility of the driver inadvertently failing to place the transmission into ‘PARK’ prior to exiting the vehicle.”... A standard PRNDL mechanical shift handle.

You skipped the obvious cross/X shaped scar on his abdomen. Does that connect to the baby? To the umbilical cords?

One of my friends had a Crown Vic handed down to him. It was great, until about 3 years into his ownership, around 2011. At that point, during a routine drive up to NJ from VA’s eastern shore, it decided it was a good time to rupture the intake manifold taking the cooling system and a number of other ‘under hood

“Well, that escalated quickly. I mean that really got outta hand fast!”

Might want to add a speaker grill here or your passenger’s foot will go through the speaker the first time that VTEC kicks in, yo.

Why aren’t these real gauges? Must we replace ALL THE THINGS with LCD’s?

I agree with you, I’d prefer it be two nice 3D real-life gauges. But the image two down from this one shows that it’s all electronic LCD, all the time. Like the same thing I don’t like on the S-Class. It’s probably on a trim that has ALL the other stuff I want, except the gauges, so I’d be stuck with it. :(

You know, the QX30 AWD didn’t sound so bad until you said Plastic Body Cladding. *shutter* why do they have to do that anymore? What year is this?

Who said dress shoes aren’t comfy? I’ve got a pair of Rockports I could (and have) jog in if needed.

That’s what I said... and then I hit my 30’s and had a kid and now my money’s going there :(

One thing to take into account is the maintenance on that car. Say you start with a brand new car that’s your $25k accord, or you get the 4 year old $20k accord. If you pay cash, you now have a hole on your account where that money went. You’ll have a warranty on the new one, which will give you time NOT spending

Cars have inflated... Saftey standards have increased, as have the number of gadgets ‘people’ want in a car. Which is related to the fact that a ‘89 Civic 3 door could get almost 50mpg naturally aspirated, and now we’re lucky to get 45mpg out of a 2 door Civic with all sorts of Hybrid technology. Takes a lot of extra

A flash of the brights to “pass” doesn’t work any better than the full on speeding police car with flashing blue lights that doesn’t seem to make them flinch at times. I notice them half a mile away (depending on the road’s straightness) and move over, and he comes flying up at 100mph trying to get somewhere and the

While I applaud your choice of parking spot (if it fits it’s all good), doing this with a Miata may not be the smartest idea. I remember back to a Walmart parking lot years ago (I have no photo evidence as it was a time prior to camera phones), when two of the employees parked just like this. (though there was a curb

This happens to me all the time. I park way the hell out in the middle of no where, away from all other cars and next to a curb. I go in the store for 10 min, i come back out and there’s a car RIGHT NEXT to mine. In what world is THAT acceptable?

The piece from 60 Minutes, which doesn't exactly have the greatest track record when it comes to automotive reporting (and more), is bolstered by a report from the office of Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey. The report, due out tomorrow, supposedly states that all new cars can be hacked and that, according to 60
