Unfortunately, not only is the property published by Nintendo, but the developer hasn't made a game for a non-Nintendo system since the original PlayStation.

Consoles tend not to be region free. I have rarely heard of a portable that was region locked. I honestly think the 3DS is the first time I have heard of a portable being region locked.

I know that, but what the hell am I supposed to do when they announce a Jump game for the 3DS?

I really hope this is true. I likely would buy a 3DS, but with the knowledge that it was region-locked, and the fact that the game that was ALWAYS in my DS was Jump Ultimate Stars - why should I even bother?
