Why would that be on her though? It's your issue not hers. As long as she isn't stringing you along then just say something and be done with it. Otherwise, continue to live in your fantasy world that hinges on you maybe having a chance and don't be mad she doesn't want to breach the awkward subject.

Maya can't pass, she's clearly brown and she has black features. I could kind of see Rashida but she's also brown so you can't possibly think she is regular white (like maybe she could be a Itallian) unless you think she just tans alot.

She kind of figured it out when she joined the BSU before asking her mom for the truth. Her mom was really trifiling though.

Strange, I can't imagine anyone thinking Mariah is white. Even as a child I could clealy see she was black. A mixed woman yes, but definitely black.

I never would have guessed the actress playing Zoe was mixed. She appears black, so I agree the ethnically ambiguous remark stood out. I figured they put that in so Dre could react with confusion as he did.
