“White hat” and “Black hat” have nothing to do with race. It goes back to the old good guy versus bad guy, specifically cowboys. The good cowboy wore a white hat and the bad guy wore a black hat. Are we to the point that the color black cannot be associated with anything bad? What happens to Darth Vader then?

The three kids at the table are going to be Wildcat, Hourman, and Dr. Mid-Nite. They’ve already revealed them in costume a couple of weeks ago.

I’m a fan of the genre, but never read the books or played the games. I found it mostly follow-able and quite enjoyable.

I enjoyed this show for what is was. It wasn’t deep or moving TV, but it was interesting enough for me to watch all 6 episodes and to want to watch more.

He is the sheriff’s father on the ABC show, Emergence.

I’d just point out that this wasn’t a Chris Carter creation, but was adapted from a comic book by the same name.

Given your first paragraph, it is hard to imagine that you were reasonable in any bans you have issued. You immediately jumped to attacking me when I pointed out the irony of your post. A reasonable person would have looked at that and acknowledged how it could have been perceived as such. A narcissist would not.

Surely I am not alone in seeing the irony in making a post about the banning on Kinja and then turn around and trying to lure people to the Discord server by offering banning as a selling point.

This is stupid. Blizzard is a video game company and is not required to take political stances. Nor is anyone entitled to free-speech on anything involving their games, live streams, etc. Them trying to appease their bosses does not make them against democracy. And even still, they rolled back their punishments.

Albert Pujols is the first current ballplayer headed for the HoF, that comes to my mind.

Glad to see Bionic Six and Visionaries get mentioned. I’d love to get GOOD remakes of those. Also, Turbo Teen. That show is so bonkers.

I’m guessing it was Lagoon? That is a lot of kid’s first job in Utah. They even have their own blue school bus that they shuttle kids to the park in, during the summer.

At my last job, on a team of 10-12 people, we had 2 Gene/Jeans and 2 Charles’. What are the odds of that?

I work with two John Johnsons.

There is no “Liam Neeson”, there is only Taken. Did you see that movie where Taken fist-fights wolves? I want to see that new movie with Taken and he drives a tow truck with a missile launcher on it.

No. Your mission to convince the world that fat is okay is a much more righteous one.

I didn’t jump to surgery as a first resort. In fact, insurance won’t even cover it without you failing other attempts at weight loss. I have gone on diets and exercised. I had a personal trainer at one point about 6 years ago. Even then, I was not as thin as I am now. If I had stuck with it, I could have avoided the

Approaching your boss in front of your co-workers, calling him names, and trying to physically intimidate him is reason to be fired from ANY job. You shouldn’t be rewarded for that, contract or not.

You keep making this argument and you’re wrong. In almost no job is it okay to be disrespectful to your boss. It is insubordination and a potentially immediate terminable offense. It can also be deemed a hostile work environment, especially given that he had to be held back. Neither of those requires the step
